In this lesson we learned how to investigate, and there are many library methods of research. I know that research is an important task for business students, based on research we can start our thesis discussion, with research to support our views will be more powerful and more convincing.
And in this lesson, we learned the difference between primary and secondary research. And there are many examples that I haven’t studied before. For my project, I think first-hand research must be a difficult point, because first-hand research requires doing some questionnaires myself. All the research content should be self-conceived. Second-hand research can be used to read books, online access to information to obtain.
And in this lesson, the teacher stressed the importance of referentence, because all second-hand research content needs to be written with reference to indicate the source, which is some copyright protection.
In my opinion, I think research is a difficult point for my project, because UMA Wang itself is a brand with a short history, relatively niche, and not very well-known in the UK. Moreover, the craftsman type of clothing is also a relatively small segment of the audience. So this part of the survey is something I need to challenge for me.
Another thing is that in this class, we also learned a lot of research methods and research platforms, which are very professional platforms, not only in my university studies, but also in all the places where I need to use fashion-related materials in the future, which is very helpful.
