This is my third VM lesson, and it was very interesting. To make a pop up store model.
I’ve never done anything like this before, so I think the content of this lesson is all brand new to me. The teacher showed us a few successful models made by the students in class, which made me look forward to it even more.
The characters in our lesson are using some materials, cardboard, mirror paper, etc. to design some space. This space needs to fit its own co-branded content. My co-branding is v&a and uma wang, and unlike others, I want to do an irregular space. It is not a boxy room, so the requirements for hands-on ability are relatively high. My idea was to take the image I printed out on UMA Wang’s website as a redirection, to make a large showroom, which was divided into two areas, the first of which was a space dominated by European church styles. It can be made into a show or exhibition hall, and in another room I hope to make a small shop in the Chinese style, the whole is made of mirrors as walls, and then the Wooden Walls in the Chinese style are spliced. I also place two large trees throughout the space, and in this sample I make it out of wire.
My entire space is designed in line with my co-branded philosophy – a cultural fusion achieved through the fashion of UMA Wang. I would prefer this space to artistic value than to the profitable pop up stores. It can allow consumers to enter the store to feel the entire fashion atmosphere and brand culture.
