‘The future of fashion lies in fabric, everything comes from fabrics’ This is a sentence from the ppt at the beginning of this lesson that leads us to the theme of this lesson, which is some fabric analysis. Fabric analysis was a blank slate in my field of knowledge, because I thought that only those who studied design needed to study fabrics.
This lesson changed my perspective, Sarah said that people who learn business need to learn all the knowledge, and fabric analysis is very useful for brand research, because the quality of the fabrics used is directly related to the quality of the brand and the style of the brand.

We also did some research in this lesson on the difference between fabric raw materials and netural, man made fabrics. Sarah also prepared us a lot of samples of fabrics to give us the name of the fabric. In my point of view, I touched a lot of fabrics and thought it was cotton.

Later, we also started some preparation tasks and analyzed the way these fabrics were prepared. It was one of the few classes in the business class where you could do crafts, and it felt like we were all having a lot of fun. And the homework associated with this lesson requires us to do a mood board to analyze the fabrics and clothing textures that the brand will use in the joint name. Doing moodboard has always been a favorite job for me, but the photos of UMA Wang are all very emotional photos, so I was very happy in the process of making mood boards.
